[cobirds] Bird Conservancy Banding Report - Chatfield Station, 5/27/17

Another nice cool morning, and with it another good morning of banding (until about 10:30, when the rain started).  Lots of the usual late spring species:

Western Wood-pewee 4
Willow Flycatcher 2
Dusky Flycatcher 2
Swainson's Thrush 10
Gray Catbird 5
Cedar Waxwing 2
Yellow Warbler 8 new, 1 banded in 2015
MacGillivray's Warbler 2
Common Yellowthroat 3
Wilson's Warbler 4
Lincoln's Sparrow 6
White-crowned Sparrow 1
Brown-headed Cowbird 1, banded in 2016
Lesser Goldfinch 1
American Goldfinch 3

The banding station runs daily, weather permitting, through June 1 (except Memorial Day), from 7:00 to approximately 11:30. WEEKEND visitors should PRE-REGISTER at Denveraudubon.org.
