Banding activity picked up today, with many more migrants today, and just a few recaptures. Star of the Day was another Northern Waterthrush (#9 for the season). Yellow Warblers continue to arrive. I've now banded about 80 for the season, double the usual number.
Flycatchers continue to arrive as well. I banded 4 W Wood-pewees today, and 2 Willow Flycatchers, all at very high numbers for the season.
Have a good weekend,
Steve Brown
