[cobirds] Caspian Tern - St. Vrain State Park, Weld

Watched a caspian tern diving for fish in the Pelican Pond of St Vrain State Park for about 10 minutes today, at about 12:30. It then made its way west and out of sight.

No luck on finding the little blue heron at the Firestone gravel pits, but the heat waves coming off the water were pretty thick, making it difficult to pick through the egrets on the spit with the cormorants.

Good Birding,
Laura Steadman
Broomfield County
