[cobirds] Jackson State Park

Greetings All

Jackson State Park was a riot today. A riot of Willy Wobs (aka, Wilson's Warblers). Beyond the YELLOW-BELLIED FLYCATCHER, there were a number of birds of some interest, so I am pasting the entire list below. These observations took place between 11:30 AM and 3:30 PM with high overcast and virtually no wind.

This list obviously shows that I pretty much ignored waterbirds until I got over to the Inlet Channel (se. corner of reservoir). Birds were pretty much everywhere, but the best diversity was in that little lot near Hillbilly Acres (mentioned in previous post) and along the canal you cross as you approach the state park from the south (park in small state park lot on south side of channel and then walk west along channel)

Good Birding
