Re: [cobirds] Simpson Ponds, Loveland - YES waxwings

Hi All,

Deb Evers, Joan Skogen and I witnessed the most amazing thing this morning at 8:00 a.m. The hundreds of Bohemian Waxwings were in the Russian Olives north of my house when they all took off, and went high above circling us. Then more and more joined them - we estimated 600+ then they all flew east - seems like they were making their exit.

But over the rest of the morning, I kept watching and showing some folks who came to see and we had 50-100 at various times. Morning is definitely best.
