[cobirds] Stearns Lake MOBLs and more

Good day, Birders!

First post, I think. I just moved here from BC and have been enjoying the new birds in the area. I took a brief walk into the Stearns Lake area this morning, and it was very busy. About 30 Mountain Bluebirds were foraging in a big flock in the juniper bushes. There was an unusual goose that I guess might be a hybrid CANG x GWFG, hanging out with the Cackling geese. Many raptors were around, including a Prairie Falcon.

The snow on the paths was very deep, so I didn't get very far, but it was worth the effort.

Best,
Mele Avery
