[cobirds] Eastern Bluebirds, Twin Lakes, Boulder

This morning at about 7:50 AM, a male-female pair of Eastern Bluebirds were checking out a nest hole in a cottonwood near the south end of the canal between the Twin Lakes, on the east side of the eastern path.  This is right in the area where they were reported earlier this week.  She went into the hole and stayed there for a couple minutes; he perched on the rim of the hole and sang in at her; then they flew off to the north and I didn't see them again in the hour I stuck around.  Don't know how serious these potential homebuyers are, or whether they'll stay in the area, but people should be on the lookout for nesting behavior from this pair.
