Sunday, March 31th Bear Creek Lake Park
Leader, Paul Slingsby Originally scheduled as a Guanella Pass Ptarmigan trip, this trip will now go to Bear Creek Lake Park. The road to the original destination has not been cleared. Please register with the leader (303-422-3728). Meet the leader, at 0800 at the northwest corner of C-470 and Morrison Rd. Carpool drivers will need a pass to BCLP. Ducks, cormorants, avocets and bluebirds will have begun migration by this date. Water should be open in the ponds and in Clear Creek so we should have an interesting day even if we can't visit the ptarmigan. Telescopes and radios will be helpful. Half day trip.
