[cobirds] Sparrows & Falcons - Red Rocks - Jeffco

Good Morning All,

Stopped by the feeders behind the Red Rocks Trading Post between 9:30
and 10:00 this morning. Along with several other folks observed both
the Slate-colored Fox Sparrow and the Golden-crowned Sparrow appear at
the same time underneath the lower apple tree. Could have had both
birds together in a photo for just a few seconds.

Both Prairie Falcons were sitting on ledges on the face of Park Cave
Rock - I believe the male was sitting on the eyrie ledge and the
female was perched eating on the same ledge as she used yesterday to
eat her morning meal.

I will not be at Red Rocks for the next couple of days, so if you go
you might bring some seed. Good birding,
