It must be March. Every single bluebird observed in the state is being (understandably) posted. The cranes are migrating. The stirrings of gulls, groebes, waxwings, and phoebes melt the snow. It's mad. And speaking of that, for some crazy reason I started out this morning composing a quasi-ecological analysis of the NCAA Tournament participants and contests, including all birds like cardinals, jayhawks, and eagles involved. It took on a life of its own and is now befitting even the most so-2013 definition of "long" (over 5 pages). Way too long for Twitterish COBIRDS. If anyone is mad enough to want to read it, send me a personal email and I'll attach it to a reply.
