Dear Cindy and CO-Birds,

I would guess, Cindy, that you've received a number of replies offline by now.

But I also wanted to extend an invitation to you and to all birders visiting or passing through Colorado Springs to stop by the headquarters of the American Birding Association. We're at 1618 W. Colorado Ave. not far off I-25 in Old Colorado City.

We're here weekdays 9 AM - 5 PM, and often quite a bit earlier and later, as well. You can always call to check: 719-578-9703 We'd also be willing to arrange weekend openings for groups.

In addition to a bunch of friendly, helpful birders, you'll find an extensive birding library, ABA gear, and a wealth of other information and memorabilia of birding history and culture.

For those Colorado birders who haven't yet visited our new digs, I invite you to drop on by, too. We've really been enjoying the steady stream of visitors we've been getting since moving here in January.

And Cindy, if you're still in search of Colorado Springs info in advance of your trip, please don't hesitate to give me a call.
