Boulder County Open Space has provided the Boulder Bird Club with
parking recommendations during reconstruction of the Cottonwood Marsh
parking area. Temporary parking will be limited to about eight car
parking spots and two bus parking spots near the trailhead. Other
nearby parking options include the Wally Toevs parking lot at Walden
Ponds, the Heatherwood Trail parking lot off 75th Street, and Sawhill
Ponds. Walden Ponds Wildlife Habitat will remain open and the
bathroom/ picnic shelters will be accessible during construction
activities, which are expected to continue through the end of the
year.
