[cobirds] Chico Basin Ranch Migration.

 CO Birders :

Chico Basin Ranch , Pueblo County Section , ( fee area ) had a few early migrants today , with Great Crested Flycatcher , American Redstart and Least Flycatcher being the highlights around Ranch HQ .Joined by numerous Yellow Warblers , a few Wilson's Warbler , many blackbirds , Chipping Sparrows , up to 5 Sage Thrashers  south of Rose Pond. An adult Peregrine Falcon made a pass over the ducks and shorebirds on HQ pond with no success . Bird activity away from the riparian areas is slim to none because of the poor condition of the grassland from the drought.
