[cobirds] Ridgway State Park Banding Report - Bird Conservancy of the Rockies

Apologies for the delay in getting out this message! We had a great 2 weeks in Ridgway State Park, banding a total of 161 birds of 29 species. Here were the counts for those weeks:

MacGillivray's Warbler: 22

Wilson's Warbler: 17

Yellow-Rumped Warbler (Audubon's): 14

Northern House Wren: 11

Bushtit: 10

Yellow Warbler: 10

Lincoln's Sparrow: 9

Black-Capped Chickadee: 6

Western Tanager: 5

Western Warbling-Vireo: 4

Cassin's Vireo: 4

Orange-Crowned Warbler: 4

Virginia's Warbler: 3

Gray Catbird: 3

Western Wood-Pewee: 3

Mountain Chickadee: 3

Green-Tailed Towhee: 3

Song Sparrow: 2

Spotted Towhee: 2

White-Crowned Sparrow: 2

Gray-Headed Junco: 2

Plumbeous Vireo: 1

Red-Breasted Nuthatch: 1

Brown Creeper: 1

Dusky Flycatcher: 1

Common Yellowthroat: 1

Black-Throated Gray Warbler: 1

Juniper Titmouse: 1

Nashville Warbler: 1

Steller's Jay: 1

The highlight for me was definitely the Brown Creeper, which we caught on our 7:00 run on 9/4.
