The birds continue to come in slow but steady at the Chatfield station, providing nice diversity and some fun surprises. We banded 51 new birds of 14 species, had 12 return birds from previous seasons, and recaptured 16 same-season birds. Our most exciting return bird was a female Yellow Warbler who was originally banded in the spring of 2022 and had not been caught again since.
