Lots of people have been enjoying the scope views of the Pueblo
Reservoir Snowy Owl all day today. There has been a traffic jam at
the Quail Run Picnic Area parking lot, off and on all day. I haven't
been there all day, though, every time I come by there, there are lots
of people, thrilled to see the Snowy Owl. I don't think I'll be out
there much this up-coming week, so hopefully people will let us know,
when it is around at the South Shore Marina tires (breakwater). You
pretty much need a scope to see it well behind the boats, I've tried
to show people the bird through my scope, when I've been there. A lot
of people are coming to see it, after hearing about it on TV or the
newspapers. I know there were people from Fort Collins, Broomfield,
the Denver area, Colorado Springs, Las Animas, Canon City, and
probably a bunch of other places today.
