On January 28 on E Crescent Parkway, Gabrield Wiltse reported Winter Wren and Rebecca Laroche reported Yellow-rumped Warbler./
--On January 23, Steve Mlodinow reported 2 Greater Scaup, White-winged Scoter, Long-tailed Duck, California, Iceland Gull at Aurora Reservoir.
—On January 23 at South Platte Reservoir, White-winged Scoter and Yellow-billed Loon continue to be reported by mob. The loon is also reported to drift to Jefferson County. On January 26 at South Platte Reservoir, Doug Shoffner and Jane Stulp reported White-winged Scoter and Yellow-billed Loon; Jodi Chambers reported seeing the White-winged Scoter flying on the Jefferson county side. On January 27 at South Platte Reservoir, Christian Hagenlocher and many others reported White-winged Scoter and Yellow-billed Loon; Bez Bezuidenhout reported White-winged Scoter and Yellow-billed Loon in the Jefferson County portion of the reservoir. On January 28 at South Platte Reservoir, Matt Crooks, Jeff Dawson, Joanne Parker, and John McConnell reported White-winged Scoter, and Yellow-billed Loon; Jeff Dawson also reported White-winged Scoter on the Jefferson County portion of the reservoir. ---On January 27 John Rawinski reported all 3 species of Rosy-Finches at feeders of Susan Hochstetter. Go south from Monte Vista on Hwy 15 until payment ends, then go another 1 mile. Susan's place is on the east side of the road with numerous feeders.

---On January 29 in Paonia, Dennis Garrison reported that the Fox Sparrow continues to visit the FS office feeder.

Directions: Meet at Lowe's in Castle Rock near the outlet stores.. I-25 south, exit at Founders/Meadows Pkwy (exit 184), turn right (west), then right on Santa Fe Dr (Hwy 85), then right on New Beale St. Exact address 1360 New Beale St, Castle Rock, CO 80108
We will seek forest and mountain birds at Mueller, with possible Pygmy-Owl and Gray Jay, and look for
Rosy- finches at the nearby towns of Victor and Cripple Creek. Then we will make our way back via Road 87 to Deckers and along the South Platte back toward Sedalia, birding as we go. Register online or contact leader.
