The immature (likely female) Snowy Owl was being seen mid-day today at
South Shore Marina tires at Pueblo Reservoir (Pueblo County). People
from Salida, Colorado Springs, Tucson, AZ, Pueblo, and Pueblo West
were present!
The Snowy Owl seen by a hunter on Saturday, was in Bent County (not
Pueblo County), and unfortunately died. So, as far as we know, there
is only one Snowy Owl this winter in Pueblo County so far.
The hard to find adult Mew Gull, was at the pool below Pueblo
Reservoir dam, this afternoon, with many Ring-billed Gulls.
