Snowmass Ski Area (Pitkin)

100+ Brown-capped Rosy Finches  - most days – latest Wednesday

                Porcupine – on 17th

Carbondale - Crystal River valley by Hwy133 (Garfield/Pitkin County line) most days – but none Sat or Sun

                Snow Goose 1-2

Canada Geese – up to 700

Cackling Geese – up to 9

Bald Eagle and Golden Eagle on roadside Mule Deer carcass last Sunday

                Rough-legged Hawk – 1 today (Sun 28)

No matter how dry you think it is here, just be glad you don't live in Cape Town, South Africa..

Looking very likely to be the first major city in the world to run out of water – in just 10 weeks – or less

Good birding all

Best wishes
