I birded the North Marina area of Pueblo Reservoir yesterday morning. The possible highlight was what I am fairly certain was a juvenile Broad-Winged Hawk; it was briefly glimpsed flying straight away and I did not get a photograph. A small, greyish buteo, light-colored beneath the tail.
Other birds of some note: one Bonaparte's Gull; an adult Bald Eagle perched in the trees next to the marina; a pair of Redheads, a Great Horned Owl, a prairie Merlin, and two Western Grebes.
