Greetings COBIRDERS:
Great job to all have seen and are searching for this kite! As a side note, while cataloguing exotic bird specimens at the University of Colorado-Boulder Museum of Natural History in the late 1980s, I came across a swallow-tailed kite placed in the wrong drawer. The tag indicated that the adult bird had been shot in Colorado Springs in the late 1800s, after Colorado became a state in 1876.
Good luck relocating the bird!
