Today at 1:00 PM, I counted 35 Terns at Timnath Reservoir. On the sand spit
point towards the north with the Cormorants and Pelicans, there were two Caspian
Terns and two Forster's Terns. On the north shore to the east of the single new
house being built, there were 31 Forster's Terns on the shore (viewed from the north
road). Along with the Terns at both locations, there were a hundred or two Gulls
with the flocks being mixed with mostly Ring-billed, but several Californias present.
On the north shore, there was also several dozen Killdeer.
