Hi all
Woke up to an active Curve-billed Thrasher in yard this morning. She was in and out our Rabbitbrush and Lilacs-very entertaining, tearing everything apart in litter. Photos posted later this morning. Also, Western Wood Pewee fly catching and then chased by our local family of five Logger-headed Shrikes. These five have been with us for about a month now--the three young are very entertaining chasing bugs on the ground as well as pinning them to screened windows. They perch very close to windows for excellent photos. On evening walks we can walk right by them on fence lines without them flying away, pretty cool.
FYI, Crom Lake no longer shorebird habitat--filled up again last few days.
Thanks Gary Lefko, Nunn
