[cobirds] White-throated Swift flock stopped over to feed near Florence River Park and Barn Owl at Lake Hasty east of Las Animas

Sunday a flock of about 50 White-throated Swifts stopped over near Florence River Park to feed over the Arkansas River.  I have observed good sized flocks of these swifts doing the same in previous years.  A have uploaded a few pics of them on my Birds and Nature blog.

Today while traveling in far southeastern Colorado I had a little time and stopped at Lake Hasty to bird for a short time.  I was well rewarded when I spotted a Barn Owl.  I got a couple of good pics of it that are on my Birds and Nature blog.
