Boulder County Audubon hosts swan talk | The recovery of Trumpeter Swans to the Nebraska Sandhills has been a thrilling journey and the result of years of work and passion by individuals, biologists and agencies. Today, Trumpeters have returned to nest on several lakes named after them 130 years ago. Steve Jones will explore the uniqueness of the Sandhills Trumpeter Swans; the wild beauty of their nesting sites; and the tenderness, fidelity, and courage of nesting families.
