[cobirds] Gray Flycatcher Skunk Canyon Boulder County

Hi all,

Sorry for the late report but during the Boulder Audubon Teen Naturalist bird and butterfly survey at Skunk Canyon today at about 10:30am, Aidan Coohill spotted, and I identified a GRAY FLYCATCHER about 1.5 miles up the trail. The bird was flicking its' tail and vocalizing about 20 feet down the side of the trail in a dead taller shrub. Also at the Canyon was a WILLOW FLYCATCHER, a high count of VIRGINIA's WARBLERS at 13; they started singing at 10:45 and completely stopped at 11:30, only getting visuals on 2, and a ROSE BREASTED GROSBEAK singing.

Good birding,
Luke Pheneger
