[cobirds] Siskins continue, COS

Hi COBirders,

I had another, but smaller, arrival of Pine Siskins in my yard in NW Colorado Springs this morning, and banded 40 new birds. That makes 185 new siskins banded in the last 10 days, and only a dozen or so recaptured birds from banding earlier this week. I've also captured about 25 juncos this week, mostly Gray-headed, but a few Oregon, Pink-sided, and Slate also. The best one today was a returning PSJU first banded as an adult in November 2012.

Good birding,
Steve Brown
Colorado Springs
