Yesterday (Thurs) I drove out east of Pueblo to look for Harlan's Red-tailed Hawks and any other raptors that might be around. I was rewarded with 3 Harlan's, 1 Merlin and 1 Prairie Falcon in addition to 7 Western Red-tailed Hawks, 1 other hawk species and a number of American Kestrels. I got photos of the Merlin, the Prairie Falcon and 2 of the Harlans. I have only uploaded pics of the Harlan's that I found in eastern Pueblo County It can be seen on my blog at http://birdsandnature.blogspot.com/ I will get the other pics uploaded tomorrow.
