Chris Knight and I saw a Red-naped Sapsucker in Pueblo City Park this morning. We walked the Goodnight River Trail, and didn't find anything of note. There are a few Yellow-rumped Warblers around Pueblo, though no other warblers seem to be with them.
The South Shore Marina tires at Pueblo Reservoir, had an adult Lesser Black-backed Gull.
I heard from other birders that, Rusty Blackbird, Blue-gray Gnatcatcher, Spotted Sandpiper, and Blue-winged Teal were all still present along the Arkansas River, below Pueblo Reservoir dam today (all of which were first found yesterday). I didn't hear anything about Black and Say's Phoebes, or the Winter Wrens today.
Good birding,
Brandon Percival
