[cobirds] Ferruginous Hawk, Hygiene Rd., No on Terry Lake Loons, Boulder County

Hi All,      At mid morning   Patrick Bohan and I looked for the Common and Pacific Loons found yesterday with no luck . As David Dowell mentioned there were close to two thousand Ring billed Gull and dozens of Common Goldeneye. Culver Reservoir,[ Ebird has it as Blue Mountain Reservoir]' held mainly Ring necked Duck and some Bufflehead. On our way back from Lyons we took Hygiene Rd. east and had a flock of 5 Mountain Bluebirds just after the turnoff. we then had 2 Bald Eagles at  the nesting tree by Foothills Reservoir and a quarter mile past them a perched 1st year Ferruginous Hawk.. Good Holiday Birding,        Carl Starace      Niwot
