[cobirds] Dipper nesting site knowledge wanted

Hello All,
Distinguished wildlife photographer Michael Forsberg and his technical genius Jeff Dale are in the middle of shooting a documentary on the North Platte River Basin.  The products of their efforts will likely air on PBS, appear in classrooms, and possibly illustrate a book.  One of the creatures they have targeting for never-before-seen footage is the American Dipper.  Go-Pro camera technology opens many possibilities.

But Mike and Jeff need our help.  They need knowledge of accessible dipper nesting and feeding sites, preferably in Larimer, Boulder, or Clear Creek Counties.  They are basing much of their work at The Nature Conservancy's Phantom Canyon Preserve and are looking for second nestings this summer and first nestings next spring/early summer.  High water levels hampered their efforts this summer.  I met with them about a month ago and promised that I would solicit information from COBIRDS subscribers.

If you have knowledge of a nest, or even a historical nest site, they would very much appreciate hearing from you.  I would be glad to relay any information you have or put you in touch with them directly.

Thank you for considering this request.
