Quieter than yesterday, with 26 birds banded and 2 returns from prior years, but well above the numbers we were seeing the last week last year, when we were in the single digits most days. Here's the breakdown:

Gray Catbird 6
Yellow Warbler 9 new, 1 banded last year
Common Yellowthroat 3
Wilson's Warbler 1
Yellow-breasted Chat 1
Spotted Towhee 1
Lincoln's Sparrow 2
Lazuli Bunting 1
Three more days! Open from about 7:30 to 11, weather permitting, Fri, Sat, Sun.
