Yesterday Jim Thompson of La Junta reported finding a Black-throated Sparrow on private property in the Higbee area, about 15 miles south of La Junta. He sent me two good photos of it plus one of a bright Red-headed Woodpecker. Anyone wishing to see these photos may contact me directly.
