I have had a pair of Red Breasted Nuthatches in my yard all fall, with many calling in the neighborhood in Louisville. Today I had a flock of about 50 or so in the tree near my feeder, accompanied by about a dozen mountain chickadees. I usually only see the mt. chicks when it's snowing and very cold,, and then only onesies and twosies.
