Out on Dillon Peninsula at far-end of Lake Dillon before Summerwood Subdivision
Bald Eagle - very windy; cold
Flew above my two small dogs; checking them-out as food source?
Was advised by another 'walker' who also had sited the Eagle that the Eagle's territory is at the Swan Mt Inlet on Lake.
Western Grebe on lake
I was out on peninsula for about an hour sure I would find other Grebes, but it was just one.
The usual flock of Common Goldeneye were missing today; think they were here about a week.
