Some surprises yesterday birding the Ramsay-Shockey Open Space, Shoshone Trail.
-- The highlight was a Brown-headed Cowbird posing for a nice long look and a great look at an Olive-sided Flycatcher.
Otherwise the usuals. Wish I could definitively tell if I had a black-chinned hummer or if they were all broad-tailed, or something else.
Does a fairly clean, white breast conclusively indicate a black-chinned?
