[cobirds] Sat.June 21 Scrub Jay

Hi cobirders. I got back home about 5PM Saturday and was watching out front window from my chair when a Western Scrub Jay came to the
dead tree near the window and stayed a while. This one I had not seen for months I think is the one that grew up here two seasons ago. That one
had been hanging around with Blue Jays which also have not been around lately.

That 15 foot tree was winter killed a few years ago and is a favorite place for birds to stop and nice to watch .

The pair of Robins here built a nest on top of a beam under the roof where it goes over the carport. They raised 3 young .They all fledged about
week ago . I think the female moved them away. The male Robin is still here. First time the Robins nested on the house!

Not feeding the birds since early May so not much activity here.
