COBirders,
Sad report by Gary Lefko about the Lark Buntings in northern Colorado. For the first time (in my 40-year experience) there have been Larks Buntings staying for several weeks near the intersection of Siloam Road and CO highway 96. I pass by there a couple of times a week every week and have been seeing them consistently for more than a month. I’ve thought maybe with this wetter spring they might attempt to nest on the short-grass prairie there.
