I just had to respond to Peter Burke's post on this subject. Sunday, I visited a number of reservoirs, including Boulder, Lagerman, Clover Basin, and Panama, and the most interesting sighting was a flock of pelicans at Panama.
I went to Walden on Monday and managed to find three species of shorebirds: greater yellowlegs, solitary, and semipalmated.
That's what I get for being too lazy to drive out to Jackson, I guess. Here's hoping things pick up closer to home.
