This morning, 4 Common Terns were identified among the large number of Black Terns (>100) and few Forster’s Terns (2) during the fall count at Cherry Creek State Park. Perhaps it would be best to wait till after the current thunderstorm/hailstorm to check it out! Thanks to all who came, besides the Terns, our best find was an adult male Townsend’s Warbler in the trees around the structures at the Smoky Hill Group Picnic area.
