Hi Folks,
-- Sondermann Park this evening (7/13) was very quiet, but right at dusk I found a female/imm. American Redstart right at the junction of the Lilac and Westfork Trails, low in an elm and flashing its tail. In the same tree was the first Hermit Thrush I've seen migrating this season, and nearby a Black-headed Grosbeak. Very few other birds in the park. A few pewees were the only other migrants I came across.
Happy Trails,
Lee Farese
