Today Norm Lewis and I birded at Timnath Reservoir (eastern Larimer) and drove into the western part of the Pawnee Grasslands. Highlights follow.

"White-cheeked" Geese (hard to estimate but over 10,000)
Horned Grebe (1)
Weld CR 100 about 1.2 miles w of CR57 (i.e. west of Norma's Grove at where Coal Creek crosses CR100)
Common Redpoll (4) feeding on wild sunflower seeds
Northern Shrike (apparently checking out the redpolls)
Lapland Longspur (large flock of at least 100 birds)
