Sorry for the late post - no computer access.
Found at Westside trailhead on the Cherry Creek Trail - went left at the restrooms and right on the trail into Ponderosa and Scrub oak. Planned an hour hike before Thanksgiving dinner and spent that hour watching these fun birds.
Also, we had a quick glance at a bird making clicking noises - about Robin sized - light to medium colored. Any ideas?
