Birders,
At about 4:00 pm yesterday, there were 3 Rusty Blackbirds and the Pectoral
Sandpiper found by Bob Righter still present on the mudflats at the prairie
loop at Cherry Creek State Park.
I was alerted to their location by Tom Bunker and Tom Schlosser (I hope I
got the names right) who refound the birds southwest of where I was standing
and where my view was blocked by the cattails. Thanks guys.
The 3 Pac Loons were also seen near the dam and the dam structure.
A Rough-legged Hawk was perched north of a small parking area west of the
prairie loop.
