[cobirds] Mississippi Kites Glenmere Park, Greeley, Bee Bee Draw, Weld County

Thanks to Tom Pollock and Mark Chavez for pointing out the Mississippi Kites to us before we even parked the car ! After Mark and Tom left, the Kites flew to the trees on the south side across
from the rookery, where they came in on lower branches and stayed for quite some time.

On the way home we stopped by Lower Latham wetlands and Bee Bee Draw. CR 48 and CR 40 have no water, and few birds. CR 42 had water on north side of road, with 6 Avocets changing
to non-breeding plumage.

At CR 45 and CR 46, there were 15-20 Burrowing Owls on the southeast and northeast side of CR 46. On CR 45, just south of CR 46, in the first tree south of CR 45 was a very cooperative, singing Blue Grosbeak. The Grosbeak moved between the tree to phone poles and corn across from the tree on the west side of 45.
