[cobirds] Even more Dickcissels, North Longmont, Boulder County

Well, biking seems to be the way of finding Dickcissels.  I had heard and seen individuals, also while riding, in the previously reported locations from Bryan G. and Elena K.  This week, I have come across hordes of these birds in many of the fields north of Longmont.  There are at least 6-8 of them singing in the still uncut alfalfa fields about 0.5 mi. north of CO-66 on 87th St. (google map).  They are primarily on the east side of 87th, but just listen and you'll hear them all around.

These are private fields so stay on the road and be mindful of the few houses along that stretch.
