Seen today around 4:30 by myself and many others in creek south of the Basemar shopping complex. A huge thanks to Topi from Boulder Audubon's Teen Naturalist Program for originally spotting and identifying the Varied Thrush. Thanks to Topi and many other young birders involved in the Boulder Audubon program, including myself, as well as many other young birder programs, our future ornithological society has a chance to really influence new generations to keep this important and entertaining field of study a big part of the biological community.
