[cobirds] Sabine's Gull and Scoters at Miramonte (San Miguel County)

Hello Colorado Birders:

Katie Triest, Joe Cullen and I enjoyed a chilly but beautiful morning birding around Miramonte Reservoir in San Miguel County today.

Topping the list was a beautiful first winter Sabine's Gull. Lots of ducks and grebes were on the water as well. Highlights included two Barrow's Goldeneyes, a drake Redhead, four White-winged Scoters and four Surf Scoters.

The complete checklist with images can be viewed at:

Good birding,
Eric
