Once again, Boulder County Audubon is offering two scholarships for students 15-17 to the June 17-22 Hog Island, Maine, National Audubon Society birding camp and one scholarship for a 13-18-year-old student to the American Birding Association Rocky Mountain National Park camp, 3-9 July. Deadline for applying for the Hog Island scholarship is December 31. For more information, visit:

Our teen naturalist program continues to meet once a month to do wildlife surveys, wildlife photography, bio blitzes, and other naturalist activities. So far nine of our teen naturalists have attended the Hog Island camps, and at least three graduates of the program are currently employed as wildlife technicians, doing breeding bird and other surveys for universities or agencies.
