I passed through Haxtun today on my way back from a Nebraska Excursion. All five expected geese including about 20 greater white-fronted geese were at the sewage ponds. Of course at 3 p.m. I saw no snowy owl near Fort Morgan. Bill Kaempfer

A Greater White-fronted Goose joined the hundreds of other geese at Prospect Lake, Memorial Park.
